With Jadon Sancho headed for the door at Old Trafford, Manchester United have now agreed to payoff the unwanted winger to take a pay cut and leave the club.
Sancho’s departure from The Red Devils has been on the cards now for some time as the winger’s spent the last season and a half out on loan with Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
Unfortunately the key barrier to any permanent move has been Sancho’s £300,000 per week salary, which no club has wanted to pick up.

In his move to Chelsea an obligatory buy clause was included to see a permanent move take place for £25 million.
However, Sancho rejected Chelsea’s offer of £180,000 per week for a permanent move, seeing him head back to Old Trafford.
Unfortuanely, the same situation has been playing out, with Napoli and Juventus keen on the winger, but his wages have consistently proved too expensive for any club.

Juventus are continuing talks to sign the 25-year-old, however are refusing to meet his full wage requests.
Now, Corriere dello Sport has reported that The Red Devils have agreed to pay Jadon Sancho a £4.3 million severance package to support a move to Juventus.
It’s understood that the pay-out will support the former England international to agree terms for an annual wage of between £4.7 million and £5.2 million per year after tax.
Whilst this may seem like a blow for United, it will have been covered by Chelsea’s £5 million penalty fee that was paid to send the attacker back to United this summer.
As such, United will have a minimal amount of the penalty fee left to add to their transfer funds alongside the fee they’re due to get for the 25-year-old.
