Manchester United are continuing to try and offload Jadon Sancho this summer, as they look to generate funds for their rebuild under Ruben Amorim.
The former England international returned to Old Trafford at the end of last season after spending the season with Chelsea on a season-long loan.
Whilst The Blues held an obligatory buy clause to sign Sancho at the end of the season, Chelsea opted to pay £5 million instead to get out of their commitment to sign him.
It was then reported that an agreement over wages could not be agreed, with Chelsea looking to continue with his £180,000 per week wage as opposed to scaling up to his £300,000 per week salary at Old Trafford.
As such, the deal broke down, which opened the door for Juventus.
Whilst all looked well, with Sancho wanting a move to Turin and Juve holding long-term interest in the United outcast, ultimately nothing happened with the move going quiet after Sancho’s agent was seen in Turin.
Now, it’s been reported that the move broke down over Sancho’s agent’s high commissioning fees too much for Juve to happily agree to.
Unfortunately, Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting the same issue is in effect with his recent links to join AS Roma.
The Italian side have reportedly agreed a £20 million fee for Jadon Sancho with Manchester United and are happy to cover close to his full salary from his United contract.
However, Roma are unhappy, like Juve, to pay the very high commissioning costs being demanded by Sancho’s agents.
With this having already caused a breakdown in the winger’s move to Turin which appeared to be a dream move, Roma will be hoping that Sancho can push with his agents to get the deal across the line before deadline day in a matter of weeks.
