Jadon Sancho is all set to leave Manchester United this summer, the only question is to which club.
Sancho’s time at Old Trafford seemingly came to an end a year and a half ago, when a public fall out between him and then-manager Erik ten Hag saw him exiled to Borussia Dortmund on loan.
Then, last summer, ten Hag continued to find a suitor for the winger, with Chelsea signing him on deadline day for a season long loan with an obligation to buy.
The only condition of the obligatory buy was for Chelsea to place above 14th in the Premier League, and with Chelsea qualifying for Champions League football, this was certainly achieved.
However, Chelsea opted to pay a £5 million penalty to get out of their obligatory buy clause of £25 million this summer.
Whilst the former England international helped the London-based side win the UEFA Conference League, his wages proved too much for a permanent move.
With his season long loan now at an end, Sancho is returning to Old Trafford, however isn’t likely to rejoin Ruben Amorim’s squad.
CentreDevils recently revealed that three Saudi Pro League squads, with Al-Hilal throwing their hat in the ring to seal his signature.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported that Serie A champions Napoli are looking to Sancho to reinforce their wing.
With Napoli still yet to recruit to the left wing after losing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG, the Italian giants are hoping to sign to the role this summer.
The Azzurri have been strongly linked to Alejandro Garnacho since the winter transfer window, however Sancho is seemingly becoming an alternative to the Argentina international.
Whilst it’s not yet known if contact has been made, this is seemingly the first time that Napoli have shown interest in the United winger.
