Manchester United are now just days away from their biggest match of the season — the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao.

Ruben Amorim’s side will head into the showdown knowing that a win guarantees Champions League qualification, despite a dismal Premier League campaign.

The Red Devils slumped to their 17th league defeat of the season in a 2-0 loss to West Ham, leaving them 16th in the table with just 10 wins.

With the league now a write-off, Amorim has rotated heavily and placed all his focus on European glory — and the final may be the last match in United colours for several fringe players.

Among those facing the axe is Jadon Sancho, whose future at Old Trafford appears all but over.

The winger, currently on loan at Chelsea, is now unlikely to join the London club permanently, despite an initial £25million obligation to buy.

Chelsea are expected to trigger a clause allowing them to walk away from the deal by paying United £5million in compensation.

That has opened the door for Bundesliga interest, with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund both now monitoring the 25-year-old, as per The Mirror.

United are willing to accept less than £20million for Jadon Sancho in a bid to raise funds for a squad overhaul, and both German clubs are keen if Sancho is prepared to take a pay cut.

Bayer Leverkusen are seen as the front-runners, especially with Florian Wirtz expected to leave this summer and boss Xabi Alonso on his way to Real Madrid.

Leverkusen’s Champions League qualification gives them a major advantage over Dortmund, who are still scrambling for a top-four finish.

Sancho previously shone at Dortmund and returned there briefly on loan when things soured under Erik ten Hag — but Ruben Amorim has now made it clear that the winger has no future under his reign.

Alongside Sancho, the futures of Marcus Rashford and Antony also hang in the balance, as United prepare for a ruthless clearout.

With just one year left on his contract this summer, Sancho’s valuation will only continue to fall — and United are keen to cash in while they still can.
