Jadon Sancho has reached the end of his time with Manchester Untied as the winger is closing in on a move to Serie A with Italian giants AS Roma.
The former England international has been on two loan spells away from Old Trafford lasting a year and a half seeing a half-season loan to Borussia Dortmund, followed by a season-long stint at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea.
Returning to join United, Sancho was listed in the “bomb squad” with Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Marcus Rashford and Tyrell Malacia as priority offloads this summer in a bid to raise funds for the summer rebuild.
Whilst Rashford has secured a season-long loan to Barcelona with the option to buy at the end of the season, no other member of the “bomb squad” have moved on as of yet.
Sancho initially looked to be set to move to Turin to join Juventus, however the hefty commission being demanded by Sancho’s agent caused the deal to collapse.
Whilst a move to AS Roma is now on the cards, the agent’s commission is once more causing issues for the deal to go through.
As such, Football Italia reporter Alfredo Pedulla has now revealed that Manchester United have issued a warning to Jadon Sancho and his agent.
The United outcast has been warned that The Red Devils are considering activating their option to extend his contract to avoid him leaving for free next summer in a bid to force his move this summer.
Roma’s director Frederic Massara has reportedly flow to England in a bid to get a deal across the line before the transfer window closes on Monday.
It’s understood that a move has already been agreed for Sancho to go on loan with an obligation to buy, with Sancho’s agent being the only barrier to the move as it stands.
