Four of Europe’s elite battle to sign Marcus Rashford this summer

Marcus Rashford is once more drawing interest from top clubs after stunning revival on loan at Aston Villa.

Marcus Rashford is having the time of his life at Aston Villa, enjoying his loan spell, finding his form once more.

Having been dropped from the United squad by Ruben Amorim over the Christmas period, Rashford is a routine starter for Unai Emery’s side.

In 16 games, the 27-year-old has grabbed three goals and six assists, enjoying a strong partnership with fellow loanee Marco Asensio.

Whilst Villa have the option to make Rashford’s temporary move permanent this summer for £40 million, United have decided that if the deal doesn’t go through, they’ll look for other potential buyers.

However, they won’t have to search for long with four of Europe’s elite looking to sign the talented United academy graduate.

Four top clubs monitor Marcus Rashford ahead of summer move

The Express has reported that PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are all waiting in the wings to sign Rashford should he return to Old Trafford at the end of the season.

PSG have been monitoring Rashford for some time, previously considering the attacker as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe when he moved to Real Madrid.

Rashford has also been on Barcelona’s shortlist for some time, with new manager Hansi Flick is reportedly very interested in signing the England international.

Bayern Munich are also keen on the United wantaway, with the German giants losing talisman Thomas Muller this summer, looking to use a further partnership with Harry Kane as a potential lure.

And finally, much closer to home is Chelsea who are already set to be signing United flop Jadon Sancho for £25 million, however could pull out of the deal to focus on signing Rashford.
