With two weeks left of the summer transfer window, Manchester United aren’t finished with their activity in the market.
The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford and Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
The new trio mark a prioritisation for remodelling the club’s attack, with several of the club’s attack being set for sale at the start of the summer.
Manchester United labelled their “bomb squad”, consisting of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Marcus Rashford and Tyrell Malacia, with the priority being to permanently offload all five this summer.
Rashford has been the only major departure so far, however even that move has been a season-long loan to Barcelona with option to buy for £26 million plus add-ons, as opposed to a fixed permanent move.
The Red Devils are continuing to push however to offload the remaining four, with Manchester Evening News adding that Rasmus Hojlund has also been added to the list of priority sales.
The Denmark international has been replaced by Sesko, being told that he will not be getting gametime at Old Trafford so needs to find a new club if he wants to get minutes.
Hojlund has got several suitors from Serie A, still regarding him highly after his time at Atalanta, making it highly likely that a return to Italy could be on the cards.
This also looks to be the next destination for Jadon Sancho who is linked with AS Roma, with the Serie A side and United already agreeing on a £20 million fee for his move.
Meanwhile Garnacho is looking to remain much closer to home with a move to Chelsea seemingly imminent after the winger told his friends he’d be moving to Stamford Bridge this summer, rejecting a move from Bayern Munich.
As for Malacia and Antony, their future is much more up in the air, with Real Betis still hoping to bring Antony back to Spain after his successful loan spell with them.
