Manchester United’s transfer business has shifted into top gear as Ruben Amorim continues rebuilding his squad ahead of the new season.
The club has already completed the £62.5million signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and focus has now turned to bolstering the wide attacking areas.
Amorim’s primary concern remains United’s shocking return of just 44 Premier League goals last season – the second-lowest tally among non-relegated teams.

With the Red Devils out of the Champions League and having fallen short in the Europa League final to Tottenham, the pressure is on INEOS to back Amorim with players who can deliver results immediately.
Despite the lack of European football, United remain an attractive destination – particularly for a forward who registered 20 goals and eight assists in the Premier League last season.
Manchester United are preparing to table a final “take it or leave it” offer worth £60million for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, as per The Mirror.
The new bid will be structured as £55m upfront with £5m in bonuses, and while it falls just short of Brentford’s hardline valuation, United hope the full package will satisfy the west Londoners.
Bryan Mbeumo has already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with the option of an additional year, believed to be worth around £200,000 per week.

Sources close to the player say he is eager to join United, turning down interest from rival Premier League clubs and pushing for the move behind the scenes.
Brentford, however, are reluctant to sell their top scorer unless their valuation is fully met, but there is growing belief that an agreement could now be reached.
If signed, Mbeumo would become United’s second attacking reinforcement of the summer, adding pace, finishing ability, and versatility on the flanks or as a second striker.
The club plans to raise further funds through player sales, with Antony, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Tyrell Malacia all reportedly on the chopping block.
INEOS is aiming to generate around £150m through outgoings to supplement Amorim’s already healthy transfer war chest.
With Mbeumo pushing to join and United desperate to add firepower, this could be the decisive moment in a crucial summer rebuild.
