Manchester United are actively exploring ways to bolster Ruben Amorim’s squad in the January transfer window.
Amorim, who took over in November, has already implemented positive steps toward his ideal playing style.
Despite some mixed results, it’s clear the United manager needs reinforcements to make his system work effectively.
However, financial mismanagement in recent years has left the club in a precarious position.
United must now sell to buy, making this transfer window particularly tricky.
Several high-profile players, including Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho, have been linked with potential exits.
The focus remains on balancing the squad while bringing in players for key positions.
One player whose future has flown under the radar is Luke Shaw.
Fabrizio Romano provided a fresh update on the future whereabouts of the player.

The left-back has been sidelined with an injury setback since early December.
While some fans have suggested cashing in on Shaw to fund new arrivals, Fabrizio Romano sees no January movement.
“I don’t see any movement for Luke Shaw in January,” Romano shared in his GiveMeSport column.
Romano hinted there could be changes in the summer but reaffirmed Shaw’s position is currently secure.
United are reportedly looking for a left wing-back, given Shaw and Tyrell Malacia’s injury woes.
Shaw’s ability is unquestionable, but his fitness record remains a concern for potential suitors.
Despite frustrations from fans over Shaw’s injuries, Ruben Amorim has thrown his support behind the defender.

Amorim believes Shaw is a “top player” when fully fit and is determined to help him regain his best form.
Since taking over, Amorim has highlighted Shaw’s dedication to recovery and fitness.
“Since I arrived, I’ve seen him in the medical department, in the gym, and on the pitch,” Amorim said of Shaw after his latest setback.
“He’s losing weight, controlling his load, and doing everything right. If he continues, he is a top player, and we need him.”
The Portuguese manager has vowed to back Shaw for as long as necessary.
“No matter how long he needs, I will be with him,” Amorim added.
