Manchester United have been interested in PSG’s Manuel Ugarte for some time now, with the Red Devils looking to him to strengthen their midfield.

Ugarte is one of a few options that United are turning to, including Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and free agent Adrien Rabiot.

The Red Devils have already started making massive waves in the transfer market as part of their epic squad rebuild project which is taking place since Sir Jim Ratcliffe has taken charge at the club.

Already this summer we’ve seen Joshua Zirkzee join from Bologna, Leny Yoro join from LOSC Lille and Mason Greenwood depart after 17 years at United to join Ligue 1 club Marseille.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that United have agreed personal terms with the Uruguayan.

Despite having the opportunity to play Champions League football if he were to remain at the French capital, Ugarte is keen for a move to Old Trafford.

It’s understood that conversations between the two clubs are still taking place in order to agree a fee, however United do appear to be front runners to sign the exciting midfielder.
