Marcus Rashford has been one of the Manchester United youth academy’s best output over recent years, however his future with the club appears to be over.
Last season, Rashford was dropped from Ruben Amorim’s squad after concerns his off-field antics were affecting his on-field performances, seeing the 27-year-old head to Villa Park on loan for the second half of the season.
Returning to Old Trafford with Aston Villa opting against triggering their option to buy for £40 million, Rashford has been faced with a massive blow as new signing Matheus Cunha has been handed his number 10 shirt.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Marcus Rashford’s future as his United career is at an end.
Through the social media platform X, Romano has revealed that a new round of talks will take place next week to decide the England international’s future.

The most likely move for Rashford appears to be with Barcelona who could turn even more attention to the England international after their failed attempt to buy Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
Barca have already been looking to Rashford, with his agent meeting sporting director Deco in a hotel in the Spanish city over a month ago.
However, with the Spanish club rejected for Williams, and unlikely to get Luis Diaz from Liverpool, Rashford appears to be their strongest option.
