Benjamin Sesko is set to become the third major signing for Manchester United this summer as the club look to rebuild their squad for Ruben Amorim’s first full season in charge.

Already, United have signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanders for £62.5 million, and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford for £71 million, with a combined total of £133.5 million so far.

Now, Sesko is inbound to complete Amorim’s new attacking trio, with RB Leipzig and United having agreed a deal valuing £73.8 million, consisting of a £66.4 million transfer fee and £7.4 million in bonuses.

With this massive commitment made, despite initially fearing a limited budget for summer signings, United have signed off a massive £207.3 million, not including the signing of younger talents such as Enzo Kana-Biyik and Harley Emsden-James.

With the club-to-club agreements in place for Sesko to move to Old Trafford, the Slovenia international flew to Manchester yesterday and has already completed his medical assessment as revealed by CentreDevils.

Now, Sesko has taken the next step in becoming a Red Devil as CentreDevils can now also reveal that the 22-year-old has signed his official contract to join Ruben Amorim’s squad.

All that’s left before the talented striker can be officially unveiled by the club is some media work ready for the big announcement.

We already know that Benjamin Sesko is joining United on a five-year contract, seeing him remain at Old Trafford until 2030, with a Slovenian journalist recently reporting the striker will be taking on a wage of £160,000 per week, working out at just over £8 million per year.

The same report also explained that a clause has been included in the contract for his salary to increase to £200,000 per week should The Red Devils qualify for Champions League football.

Now, Manchester United are heading into the 2025/26 Premier League with a completely remodelled front-line, ready to bounce back from last season.
