Manchester United are truly making waves in the transfer market with Joshua Zirkzee on the brink of joining United after a medical examination in Manchester this week, with the club on the brink of even more deals being agreed.

Matthijs de Ligt could well be the next to join the Red Devils from Bayern Munich with personal terms agreed for de Ligt and Erik ten Hag to reunite after their successful spell together at Ajax.

United are also in the process of convincing Leny Yoro of a move towards the Premier League rather than to LaLiga champions Real Madrid after a €50 million has been agreed with LOSC Lille from United for the French centre-back.

The Red Devils also now have Manuel Ugarte from PSG and RedBull Leipzig’s Dani Olmo on their radar, appearing to be front runners for both stars.

Manchester City have pulled out of the race for Olmo who is on track for Euro 2024’s Golden Boot if he can score more than Harry Kane in the final on Sunday.

With Ugarte, United have been having talks with PSG to sign the defensive midfielder as a replacement to Casemiro if the Brazilian leaves this summer.

Now however, Erik ten Hag has identified a new attacking target in LaLiga that can bring some excitement up top at Old Trafford.

Spainish publication AS have announced that United are now targeting Girona’s Victor Tsygankov.

Tsygankov arrived in Girona in January 2023 for €5 million from Dynamo Kyiv after coming through the Dynamo Kyiv academy.

Whilst at the Ukrainian capital, the winger made a total of 236 appearances, with 94 goals and 64 assists which helped the team to a Premier Liga league title, two Ukrainian Cup titles and a Ukrainian Super Cup titles.

These impressive performances across both wings led to his move to the Spanish league where the Ukraine international has kept up his run of form with 11 goals and 13 assists in 53 games which have help Girona to achieve a third place finish earning their first ever Champions League place.

Having been called up to the Ukrainian Euro 2024 squad, Tsygankov featured in Ukraine’s 3-0 loss to Romania, however wasn’t used after this defeat.

Now, it’s been recorded that Erik ten Hag has personally held talks with the 26-year-old in a bid to bring him to Old Trafford.

The two-time Ukrainian Player of the Year has a £25 million release clause in his contract which expires in 2027, allowing for United to bypass negotiations with Girona in order to sign the winger if they manage to agree personal terms with him and his agents.
