Edinson Cavani is arguably a highly respected and decorated striker.
At 38, the striker has had spells at many clubs across Europe including at Manchester United where he made 59 appearances and scored 19 goals.
Furthermore, the 38-year-old has also had spells in Italy with Napoli where he scored 104 goals and Paris Saint Germain where he scored 200 times.
But, following his spell in Spain with Valencia where he scored seven times, the striker has been in Brazil with Boca Juniors where he has made 72 appearances across the course of two years at the club.
During his time at the club, the 38-year-old has featured in Juniors’ kit release photoshoots.
Furthermore, in his time at the club, the former Uruguay international has scored 26 times.
Now, the former Manchester United man could be on his way to Europe.
A Bola have reported that Cyprus side Pafos are targeting the signing of Edinson Cavani following the signing of David Luiz to the club earlier in this summer’s transfer window.

The club won the 1. Division last season – their first title – and will arguably be looking to continue their title winning run in the upcoming campaign.
Therefore, the recruiting of someone like Cavani – who has over 300 career goals and who has won several Ligue 1 titles with PSG – may be beneficial to the side’s efforts.
If he was to move to the club, he would be returning to Europe for the first time in two years on a permanent basis.
But, at 38, the striker may be unable to hit the same form and ability that many saw during his spells at other top European sides.
However, only time will tell in Pafos’ pursuit of Edinson Cavani and the prospect of Cavani hitting the same ability and form that he hit whilst in Europe during the 2010s and early 2020s.
