In recent months, a number of former Manchester United players have taken the next step in their careers away from Old Trafford.
Nick Powell, once tipped as a future star at United, joined Bradford City this summer, while Marcos Rojo returned to his homeland to sign for Racing Club.
Even academy graduates have been on the move, with Logan Pye recently sealing a switch to Accrington Stanley in search of first-team opportunities.
It has been a reminder of the wide variety of career paths taken by those who once wore United red.

The latest to embark on a new chapter is midfielder Ethan Hamilton.
As officially confirmed by Dundee FC’s club website, Hamilton has now joined the club on a three-year deal from Lincoln City for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old Scot returns north of the border for the first time since leaving at the age of 15 to join United’s academy system.
During his time at Old Trafford, Hamilton featured for the Under-18s, 19s and 21s, while gaining senior experience on loan at Rochdale, Southend United and Bolton Wanderers.
He left permanently in 2020 to sign for Peterborough United, helping them secure promotion to the Championship.
Before spells with Accrington Stanley and Lincoln City, where he racked up more than 160 appearances combined.
Speaking after completing his move, Hamilton expressed his delight at joining the Scottish Premiership side.
“I’m delighted to be at the club. When I first heard of the interest, it was something I wanted to take on,” he said.
The midfielder also revealed conversations with defender Ryan Astley played a part in convincing him, adding that he is excited by the project Dundee’s manager is building.
Describing himself as a “high-energy player” who will give his all, Hamilton also hopes to contribute goals as he begins this new chapter.
His arrival marks another statement of intent from Dundee, who continue to build with ambition for the season ahead.
