Manchester United are about to welcome talented young left-back Diego Leon to Old Trafford as the youngster is seen headed for England.
Recent images have been released of the 18-year-old at an airport waiting for his flight to make his move to United official.
The defender was signed back in the winter transfer window from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno, however due to his age, couldn’t move until after his 18th Birthday in April.
Leon very quickly showed of his talents in Paraguay, being promoted from the Cerro Porteno academy in July last year, instantly grabbing attention from around the world.

In 33 games for Porteno, Leon grabbed four goals from the left-back role, and showed off his attacking ability which fits with Ruben Amorim’s desire to use very dynamic wing-backs.
Now, Leon has not only been spotted at the airport, but has given United fans something to get excited about.
Speaking about his move, to Paraguayan reported Matias Cuevas, Leon commented: “Everyone thinks I’ll go out on loan, but I don’t have that mindset. I’m going to kill it in the preseason and within one or two games, I’ll already be playing with them.”
This mindset shows how determined Leon is to get stuck in and fight for his place, with Patrick Dorgu and Harry Amass already in the role at Old Trafford.
No doubt the passion being brought by the 18-year-old will not only excite fans but also Amorim who’s keen to have players on the pitch who want to be wearing the United shirt proudly.
