Manchester United are prioritising improving their attack this summer transfer window.
After a season struggling in front of goal, scoring just 44 goals in the league, Ruben Amorim has identified the frontline as a key area of improvement.
After completing deals for Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, expected to play in the two number 10 roles, United are looking at recruiting a new striker to play alongside them.

United had shown interest in Victor Osimhen, but he seemingly rejected the club in favour of a move to Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan.
United had wanted Osimhen to take a wage cut in order to fit into their new preferred wage structure under INEOS.
However, the Nigerian striker refused, opting to remain at the Turkish club permanently.
Fabrizo Romano, on X, has now revealed that Galatasaray are closing in on completing a deal for the striker, with a verbal agreement now in place.
The immediate fee will be €40 million this year, with an additional €35 million to be paid the following year.
Additionally, there is a €5 million add on clause, triggered depending on the amount of goals scored at the club, with a 10% future sell on clause also included.
However, this clause includes a refusal for Galatasaray to sell to an Italian club, ensuring the Napoli striker doesn’t end up at their rivals in the near future.

Manchester United won’t be panicking about missing out on this deal, however, with plenty of strikers lined up as potential options.
Having also being turned down by Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres, United are weighing up their options for a number of alternate striking options including Benjamin Sesko and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
United need to sell in order to buy, but will be hoping to complete a deal for a striker sooner rather than later, giving Ruben Amorim time to work on the training ground with his new signing.
