With United looking to remodel their defensive line up, movement is expected both in and out of the club, with a number of Championship club interested in one of United’s stars.
With Leny Yoro on the brink of becoming a United player, the Red Devils are still on the hunt for further reinforcements with a deal for Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt stalling leading to the Red Devils considering Jonathan Tah of Bayer Leverkusen.
But in order to bring in more defenders, United will need to part ways with a number of the first team defenders like Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof who have been marked as priority sales.
However, Manchester Evening News has now reported that one of United rising stars is now at the centre of attention from the Championship.
Will Fish is the man of the moment fresh of a successful loan to Hibernian having made 45 appearances for the Scottish club becoming a vital squad member at the heart of defence. It’s understood from United insiders that the centre-back’s temporary spell away from the club is considered as one of the most successful loans they had arranged.
With such an impressive loan spell, challenging Hibs’ established senior team, a decision is needed on the 21-year-olds future at Old Trafford, with a number of Championship clubs looking at loan offers or a permanent transfer fir the youngster.
It’s understood that while no decision has been made yet on Fish’s future, he could still travel with the squad for this summer’s pre-season friendlies in the United States.
