The future of Jadon Sancho is still as unclear as at the start of the summer, despite a seemingly clear path to Juventus being paved.
Sancho arrived back at Old Trafford with Manchester United after Chelsea pulled out of the obligatory buy fee of £25 million at the end of their season-long loan.
The London-based side had attempted to negotiate a £180,000 per week salary for the former England international; however, he rejected this significant drop from earning £300,000 per week with United.
His move back to United opened the door once more for Juventus to move for the winger, having wanted to take Sancho on loan last season.
However, despite his agent being seen in Turin, working on his move, with personal terms reportedly agreed already following a severance payment of £4.3 million from United to support Sancho to take a wage cut, he’s still on the books at Old Trafford.
Now, Patrick Berger of Sky Sports Germany has reported that one of the Bundesliga sides are considering a move for the 25-year-old.
Jadon Sancho rose to fame thanks to his time at Borussia Dortmund, scoring 50 goals and grabbing 64 assists in 137 games between 2017 and 2021 when he joined Manchester United for £73 million.
Then in January 2024, Sancho was exiled to his former club on loan for half a season having had a public bust-up with then-manager Erik ten Hag.
Now, the Sky Sports journalist has reported that third time could be a charm as Dortmund hold internal conversations over making another move for Sancho to being him back to the club once more.
Juventus still appear to be front runners to sign the 25-year-old, however the door is still wide open for a hijack as the negotiations between Juve and Manchester United appear to stall.
