Manchester United are continuing to rebuild their squad this summer, in a vital transfer window as Ruben Amorim tries to turn The Red Devils around.

The club have already remodelled their attack, with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko moving to Old Trafford.

Outward bound, United have identified Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Tyrell Malacia as key players to offload by 1st September 2025.

However, the fate of the club’s captain Bruno Fernandes is once more in question.

Earlier this summer, Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal offered a mega-money move for the Portugal international, which would have seen United earn £100 million for their star man.

Bruno Fernandes himself was offered a £200 million contract, with his agent being seen discussing the details in a hotel in Riyadh close to the Al-Hilal complex.

Whilst this offer was astronomical for the midfielder, Fernandes rejected it, opting to remain in Amorim’s side, showing his dedication to United.

Now, Al-Ittihad are trying to lure the midfielder to the Saudi Pro League, with ths side having already contacted his camp.

However, Ben Jacobs has reported that the Saudi side are yet to contact Manchester United, with the Red Devils fairly relaxed that they’ll be keeping their captain.

It’s not expected that any club-to-club contact is going to be made unless Al-Ittihad are given the nod that Fernandes would be open to a move from Old Trafford.
