Bruno Fernandes is among a number of names that have been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer as the club undergoes a big change.
So far this summer, the Red Devils have seen five new faces come through the door including Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
Furthermore, the summer has seen Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof leave the club following the expiry of their contract.
But, Evans has stayed on in a non-playing capacity.
As well as this, Marcus Rashford has departed the club on a loan deal to Barcelona for the duration of the 2025-26 season.
But, even with a large amount of change, Bruno Fernandes has remained as a consistent and active reminder of what Manchester United is.
Fernandes himself had previously been tempted with a move away from Old Trafford with Al-Hilal coming in with a £300 million offer for the attacking midfielder.
However, the United captain rejected a move to the Saudi Pro League side.
Now, a major update has emerged in the deal’s progression.
According to Saudi Arabian source Arriyadhiah, Al-Ittihad have officially started talks with Bruno Fernandes over the prospect over a potential deal.

However, considering Fernandes has previously rejected moves to the Middle East, negotiations are reportedly going to be hard.
Furthermore, considering Fernandes’ commitment to United and his rejections of the past, a move to Saudi Arabia arguably is less likely to happen.
But, anything can happen and at any moment.
Therefore, Manchester United arguably need to prepare for every possible outcome – just in case.
