Manchester United’s transfer window has taken a decisive turn as the club zeroes in on its key priorities under Ruben Amorim.
With fresh faces like Patrick Dorgu already through the door and Luke Shaw returning to full fitness, the club is recalibrating its focus to areas that need immediate reinforcement.
Amorim is keen to strengthen both midfield and attack this summer, as United prepare for a demanding season across multiple fronts.

The development of teenage talent Harry Amass at Carrington has also given the club a long-term option at left-back, reducing the urgency for new signings in that role.
United’s defensive structure is now seen as relatively stable, leaving many fringe transfer targets out in the cold.
One of those now looking likely to miss out is Brighton left-back Pervis Estupinan, who, according to former United chief scout Mick Brown via Football Insider, is desperate to make the switch to Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old has reportedly asked to leave Brighton this summer, joining Joao Pedro and Matt O’Riley in voicing frustrations over the club’s current trajectory.
Brown revealed that Estupinan’s agent has been actively alerting clubs to his client’s availability — and has made it clear that United is the Ecuadorian international’s preferred destination.
However, despite having long-term admirers at Carrington, United’s interest has cooled significantly in recent months.

“Estupinan is looking to move away from Brighton,” said Brown.
“It’s a strange situation there — players are queuing up to leave.
“His agent has been making his availability known, and from what I hear, he wants to join Man United.”
Brown went on to say that although the full-back was previously on the club’s radar, United are now well covered in that position.
“Shaw is back fit, they brought in Dorgu, and they’ve got Amass.
“Their priorities are at centre-forward and in midfield. I don’t expect them to move for Pervis Estupinan.”
It’s a frustrating twist for the Brighton man, who remains hopeful of a late U-turn — but for now, United appear to have moved on.
