Manchester United and Brentford have had a lot of contact this transfer window, particularly due to the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo.
Negotiations were tough and long, and it took nearly 2 months to reach an agreement after CentreDevils exclusively broke the Red Devil’s interest in the forward.
Ruben Amorim’s side had 2 bids rejected but agreed to a fee of £71 million, with £6 million being in add-ons.
He is one of three summer signings, with the other two being Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.
These three are huge additions to improve the attack.
The new attackers have pushed Rasmus Hojlund out with a move to AC Milan close and him being dropped from the Arsenal game.
It seems like the Red Devils could deal with Brentford again this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are targeting a move for Brentford captain Nathan Collins.
Daily Mail Sport understands that interest in the 24-year-old centre-half is surging – although the Bees may well be highly reluctant to sell.
Irishman Collins was given the captain’s armband earlier this month and promptly celebrated by scoring the only goal of the game in a friendly victory against neighbours QPR.
New manager and compatriot Keith Andrews spoke glowingly of the former Stoke City and Burnley defender, describing him as ‘a natural leader’.
And, following a summer which saw two key players depart, Brentford have no need to cash in on a player who joined for a club record £23m from Wolves on a six-year deal in 2023.
United are keen on adding another defender and have already raided the Bees for £65m Bryan Mbeumo.
However, any further business at Old Trafford is only likely to arrive should existing squad members depart.
A move for Collins could mean more competition defensively, which is always a positive.
