In another successful move for Manchester United this summer transfer window, The Red Devils appear to have secured the future of talented young striker, Benjamin Sesko.

United have been locked in a two-horse race for the Slovenia international with fellow Premier League side, Newcastle United.

Both clubs are desperate to sign a quality striker this summer as Ruben Amorim’s strikers, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, have failed to provide consistency in front of goal, whilst Eddie Howe is looking likely to lose Alexander Isak from his ranks.

The Sweden international has expressed a desire to leave Newcastle this summer and as such, both The Magpies and The Red Devils are looking to similar targets in the market, with Sesko at the top of their lists.

However, last night, CentreDevils exclusively revealed that Benjamin Sesko is preferring a move to Old Trafford over St James Park, having had both projects pitched to him.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Sesko is set to move to Old Trafford, having agreed full personal terms this summer to join United.

It’s understood that his contract will be in place until June 2030, giving him a five-year deal with Ruben Amorim’s side.

The signing of Sesko will be the third major signing for United this summer, following the recruitment of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, setting up an entirely new front line for the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season.
