One position United are keen to recruit for is goalkeeper, especially with Andre Onana suffering a hamstring injury in pre-season.
United have been closely linked to Emiliano Martinez throughout the summer, but would likely be more interested in cheaper options.

It was previously reported Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens has emerged as a top target for United.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has shone in Belgium over the past year, excelling in his shot-stopping and acting as a dominant presence in goal.
This has led to interest from across Europe, with newly promoted Leeds also competing for his signature.
However, United will be optimistic about persuading the Belgian to choose Old Trafford, especially after Lammens’ comments about the club back in February.
Speaking to Belgian media, Lammens admitted he had seen the speculation: “The first time I heard it, I thought: ‘Wow’, immediately a world team that follows you. That is special.”
Reportedly available for just £17 million, Lammens represents a low-cost, high-reward option for United.

Fabrizio Romano has now shared additional information on United’s pursuit of the goalkeeper via X.
According to Romano, United have contacted Royal Antwerp to be informed of the conditions of a potential deal for Senne Lammens.
While other options remain on the table, Lammens is considered one of the top targets on United’s goalkeeper shortlist.
With the club eager to complete their business sooner rather than later, giving Ruben Amorim the best possible opportunity to work with a full squad before the season begins, Lammens stands out as a strong candidate.
The Belgian would be a smart addition: relatively affordable, highly talented, and prepared to compete for his place once Andre Onana returns to full fitness.
