In their worst start to a Premier League season ever, Manchester United’s defence has surprisingly not been a big issue.
Andre Onana has kept the most clean sheets in the league and United have conceded eight goals – the same as Manchester City and Chelsea.
In the summer, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui were added to United’s defensive ranks.
Although Yoro is yet to feature for the club, De Ligt and Mazraoui’s involvement has proved to be effective.
However, United are still looking to bolster their defence with another signing.

Now, Barcelona are amid contract negotiations with the Danish defender, according to SPORT.
Christensen has 18 months left on his contract and has attracted interest from United and Spurs.
Barcelona have long lasting financial issues and the sale of Andreas Christensen would greatly help them.
However, the ex-Chelsea man has no interest in returning to England and plans to sign a new contract at Barcelona.

Christensen has been suffering with an achilles injury and is not expected back until the new year.
After signing Dani Olmo last summer, Barcelona decided not to register the injured Christensen to their squad, which sparked much speculation over his future.
However, Barcelona’s hierarchy have insisted that the centre-back’s future is not in danger and that he will be re-registered in January 2025.
If the parties do not reach an agreement on a new contract, Christensen may abandon his desire to continue at Barcelona and look to pastures anew.
Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof’s contracts both expire next summer, meaning United may look to hand Christensen a second chance in the Premier League.
