Marcus Rashford intends to leave Old Trafford this summer, marking the end of his twenty-year stay. Recently, Rashford was informed that his shirt number would be changed.
Manchester United offered the famous number to newcomer Matheus Cunha, a blatant sign that he has no place in Ruben Amorim’s team.
After a half-season loan to Aston Villa, where he flourished under Unai Emery and even regained his place in the England national squad, the 27-year-old recently made his way back to Old Trafford.
The largest barrier to a long-term transfer to Villa Park was Rashford’s wage, which Villa considered untenable in the absence of Champions League competition, which they simply missed out on.
The English international has returned to Carrington even though he was given a lengthier leave of absence to train on his own to get fitter.

Barcelona enter final stages to sign Marcus Rashford
Both Luis Diaz of Liverpool and Nico Williams of Athletic Club, Barcelona’s top target left-wingers, are still at their clubs because they are considered too important to be sold.
And now there has been an advancement on the deal.
As per David Ornstien of the Athletic, Barcelona is advancing on a deal to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
They have made an offer via intermediaries of a loan and a buy option.
Manchester United has agreed to this, with Barcelona manager Hansi Flick also agreeing to the move.

It’s evident that the winger is eager to leave United, just as much as both Barcelona and United want him to, so perhaps a solution that works for everyone can be reached soon.
