Manchester United have been busy in the transfer window this summer.
After finishing 15th in the Premier League, Ruben Amorim and the club made it a priority to revamp the squad ahead of a new campaign.
They have already secured the signings of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko, aiming to add goals and firepower to the starting XI.
Now, United are turning their attention to strengthening in goal and midfield, previously linked with Carlos Baleba for the midfield role and goalkeepers Senne Lammens and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
However, for further arrivals, departures will be necessary.
The club is looking to move players part of the “bomb squad” – Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia in order to raise funds for future investment.
Malacia has been a target for a number of clubs recently, with Roma, Besiktas, Porto and Atalanta all interested in the Dutch left back.
However, Atalanta’s interest is now expected to cool.

Fabrizio Romano, via X, has reported that Atalanta have offered a €16 million package for Polish left wing-back, Nicola Zalewski.
Atalanta had previously been interested in Tyrell Malacia to play left wing-back, and he had been part of a three-man transfer shortlist this summer.
However, Atalanta now seem to have gone down a different path.
An official bid is on the table for Zalewski, with Inter and Atalanta in direct negotiations, hoping to agree a deal as soon as possible.
With this deal looking increasingly likely to get done, it is extremely unlikely that Atalanta will then pursue Tyrell Malacia, having already acquired their priority target.
However, United will still be looking to get Malacia out the door before the transfer window shuts, hoping to raise funds, trim a bloated squad, and prepare properly for an important Premier League season.
