Aston Villa are looking to make a move for one of Manchester United’s overlooked stars with heaps of potential.
The Villains are currently ninth in the Premier League and an impressive eighth in the Champions League.
Unai Emery’s squad are only one point off third place in the Premier League, in what’s heating up to be a tight-run fight for European qualification.
Despite recently losing to Club Brugge in their most recent outing, Villa have had an impressive run of results, beating Bologna, Young Boys and even Bayern Munich.
However, the Spanish manager feels there is room for improvement, keeping tabs on one of United’s exciting young prospects.

The Villians are now looking at Harry Amass to bring a boost to their defensive line.
Aston Villa monitor Harry Amass
TEAMtalk have reported that Aston Villa are making a surprise move for Amass who has recently been overlooked under Erik ten Hag.
This wouldn’t be the first time though that Villa tried to sign Amass, with The Villans losing out to Manchester United in 2023.
His strong performances over the summer in pre-season made it incredibly likely that he would be handed his debut at the start of the season, especially with injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
However, this didn’t materialise. Ten Hag opted for Diogo Dalot to cover the left-back role, introducing Noussair Mazraoui at right-back.
Now, with Ruben Amorim in charge, things could change for Amass.
Amass is under contract until 2027, meaning there is no pressure for United to sell him or risk a free transfer. Despite Villa’s interest, it’s understood that United are not considering any offer for the left-back, who are actively looking at integrating him into the first-team
