Jadon Sancho’s next destination has been one of the ongoing sagas of Manchester United’s transfer window.
The winger has been linked with a host of clubs since completing his loan spell at Chelsea, where he struggled to live up to expectations.
Clarity over where he will play next season has remained elusive.
Serie A sides Roma and Juventus both showed interest but failed to advance negotiations, while options in the Premier League have not materialised.
Juventus have since started looking at alternatives.
Even Besiktas had initially looked an unlikely choice, with Sancho reluctant to consider Turkey earlier in the summer.

Now, however, an agreement has been struck, according to Spanish outlet AS.
They report Besiktas are one step away from finalising Sancho’s transfer, with the Turkish club reaching an agreement with United and only the final details with the player left to resolve.
The deal could even be announced this week, with Besiktas already preparing an unveiling video featuring legends Gokhan Keskin, Recep Çetin and Ricardo Quaresma welcoming their new star along the Bosphorus.
Sancho, who had one year left on his United deal, was not in Ruben Amorim’s plans and was always expected to leave this summer.
His arrival comes at a tense time for the Black Eagles, who scraped past Eyupspor 2-1 in their Turkish league opener but are under pressure to deliver more convincing performances.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly at risk of being sacked if Besiktas fail to beat Lausanne in the Conference League playoffs, with former coach Sergen Yalcin tipped as a potential replacement.
News circulated earlier in the day that Sancho had rejected a proposal from Roma.
Besiktas appear to have certainly shown firmer interest – especially with their fans bombarding one of his recent posts on Instagram.
United fans will only be hoping for one thing however, and that’s for the Englishman to be out the door by the end of the window.
