After a campaign which ended in a 15th place Premier League finish, United have plenty of areas where improvement is needed for next season.
However, after scoring just 44 league goals last season, the fifth least in the division, the attacking areas of the pitch have been a high priority this summer.
This has been made even more important with the departure of Marcus Rashford to Barcelona and the expected departures of Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho this window.
United have addressed these issues in the transfer market, confirming the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, both excellent goalscorers who are expected to play in the two number ten roles.
United will now pursue a number nine to play in the middle of these two and hopefully facilitate the two tens and contribute with goals themselves.
However, United have had many options for potential attacking reinforcements this summer window.

United had been linked with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, a long-term target of the club.
Fabrizio Romano has now reported on X that Eze is keen on a move to Arsenal, with the club in contact with his camp.
Club to club talks are expected later in the window between Arsenal and Crystal Palace.
However, for now, Arsenal will focus on outgoing transfers before making more signings, especially after confirming the signing of Viktor Gyokeres, who decided against a move to United.
Eberechi Eze would likely have played in the left ten position under Amorim, but with the signing of Cunha it is unlikely United will compete with Arsenal for his signature.
Instead, United are prioritising outgoing players before attempting to recruit for more urgent positions, striker, central midfield and goalkeeper ahead of the new Premier League season.
