Manchester United’s summer clear-out is beginning to take shape as Ruben Amorim wastes no time in reshaping the squad to suit his philosophy.
Several high-profile names are already being linked with exits, and the Portuguese manager has made it clear that no player is untouchable.
While new signings remain a priority, balancing the books and trimming the wage bill are equally crucial if United are to meet financial targets.

With pre-season well underway, the club’s decision to leave out several senior players from the US tour has offered major clues about who could be heading for the exit.
Marcus Rashford is already heading to Spain after reaching an agreement with Barcelona for a loan move.
And another name being moved on is Alejandro Garnacho.
According to ESPN, Manchester United have now reduced their asking price for Alejandro Garnacho from £70 million to £40 million.

The 21-year-old winger has been excluded from the club’s pre-season tour of the United States, joining Antony, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho in being left behind — a clear indication that Garnacho is not part of Amorim’s plans.
Garnacho has been attracting serious interest from Chelsea, who have been monitoring his situation since making an initial approach back in January.
However, any move from Stamford Bridge would depend on Chelsea first offloading attackers like Christopher Nkunku or Nicolas Jackson, according to the same report.
Aston Villa are also in the race, with Unai Emery viewing Garnacho as an ideal fit for his high-tempo system.
Meanwhile, several Saudi Pro League clubs have expressed interest in the Argentina international, but sources say Garnacho’s preference is to stay in the Premier League and sign for a Champions League club.
For now, he remains in England while his future is being resolved, but with his price now slashed and multiple clubs circling, a summer exit from Old Trafford is looking increasingly likely.
