Alejandro Garnacho’s future at Manchester United has been under a cloud of uncertainty for months, much to the frustration of United fans.
As known long before the season ended, the winger clashed with head coach Ruben Amorim behind the scenes.

His attitude has been a point of internal concern.
While tactically, Garnacho is seen as an awkward fit in Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, where touchline 1v1 wingers aren’t of the essence.
Despite finishing the 2024/25 campaign with 11 goals in 58 appearances, Garnacho was one of five high-profile players recently handing in a transfer request.
And now, according to Daily Mail’s report, Aston Villa are among the clubs monitoring developments surrounding the 21-year-old’s situation at Old Trafford.
No official bid has been made yet, nor have personal terms been agreed.
However, it is a possibility that could certainly come to fruition as United continue to remain desperate to free up funds.
Garnacho is aware of interest from Chelsea – despite the Blues recently signing Jamie Gittens.
The winger, along with Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, have been asked to report to Carrington after 5pm this week.

Only once Amorim and the main squad have left the training ground.
This deliberate scheduling is a clear sign of who is no longer in Amorim’s plans.
Sancho, another player on the club’s unwanted list, remains on Juventus’ radar.
Although the Italian side are currently prioritising a move for Porto’s Francisco Conceicao.
As for Garnacho, Villa’s growing interest now adds a new layer of intrigue.
Especially with Unai Emery keen to add pace and flair to his attacking line ahead of a season where they’ll be pushing to qualify for Champions League football.
