Manchester United’s summer plans are gradually taking shape as INEOS draw up a strategy that hinges on balancing the books through outgoings.

Several first-team stars could be moved on, but the club’s focus is also on raising funds through player sales, especially those who won’t be part of manager Ruben Amorim’s plans next season.

Despite a disappointing domestic campaign, United are determined to keep hold of their core players, particularly those seen as crucial to the club’s rebuild under Amorim.

The board have publicly identified certain players as “unsellable” this summer, highlighting their importance to both the dressing room and tactical structure moving forward.

While exits are expected at Old Trafford, one name continues to attract interest from an unlikely suitor with deep pockets.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal have reignited their pursuit of United captain Bruno Fernandes and are reportedly preparing a staggering bid worth between £110 million and £125 million, as per Stretty News.

The offer is intended to tempt the Red Devils into a deal before the FIFA Club World Cup in mid-June, where Al-Hilal are set to participate.

Bruno Fernandes, 30, has once again been United’s standout performer this season, racking up an astonishing 19 goals and 18 assists across all competitions.

Al-Hilal had previously approached the Portuguese playmaker last summer, but he was determined to continue at Old Trafford.

The Saudi giants now believe their latest proposal could be enough to sway both club and player, particularly with Neymar no longer on their books.

The club has also positioned Fernandes as a marquee signing to elevate their midfield alongside fellow Portuguese star Ruben Neves.

Despite the bid, Manchester United are unwilling to sell unless Fernandes expresses a desire to leave, with INEOS adopting a clear “hands-off” stance for now.

Sources close to the club remain uncertain about the player’s position, though a final decision is expected in the coming weeks.

For now, United fans will be hoping their captain remains committed to the cause amid outside pressure and eye-watering offers.
