Manchester United have two weeks of the transfer window left in order to secure a deal to see Marcus Rashford depart Old Trafford.
Rashford has been left out of Ruben Amorim’s squad since the Manchester Derby in December with the exception of being an unused substitute against Newcastle.
The striker confirmed his approaching exit from United by saying that he’s ready for a new challenge setting Europe’s elite clubs on red alert.
Until now AC Milan have appeared to be the front runners for the United Academy graduate on the back of Zlatan Ibrahimović’s recommendation.
The pair played together briefly at Old Trafford with Zlatan now in the role of advisor to his former club Milan.
As such, the legendary goalscorer is well aware of Rashford’s talents thinking he’s be a perfect fit at the San Siro.
However, the Italian club now face determined competition to sign the star in the form of a Bundesliga giant.

Borussia Dortmund determined to sign Marcus Rashford
Florian Plettenburg has now reported that fresh talks have taken place between Marcus Rashford’s camp and Borussia Dortmund.
it’s understood that Sebastian Kehl and Nuri Sahin are now pushing to sign United’s attacker this January on loan.
The report expresses that Dortmund’s interest in Rashford has increased after losing 32 to Bayer Leverkusen on the weekend.
The Bundesliga club currently sit in 10th place only five points behind fourth place RB Leipzig.
As such European football isn’t off the cards yet for Dortmund for next year.
However they will need more firepower in attack for the rest of the season, hence the pursuit for the United striker.
Rashford’s departure from Old Trafford is somewhat inevitable now it’s just a matter of who he plays for next.
With Rashford being a product of the United Academy, this also stands to be a massive financial boost for the club as his sale would contribute as pure profits for the Red Devils.
