With more reinforcements being brought in behind the scenes, Manchester United’s summer rebuild under Ruben Amorim is starting to take shape.
Matheus Cunha’s £62.5 million signing has already been confirmed by the Red Devils, and they are working harder to bolster their attack.
United swiftly acquired the 26-year-old Cunha, a top Premier League player, not only because he can make things happen but also because he will undoubtedly have an immediate impact on Ruben Amorim’s team.
Cunha had a tremendous season with Wolves, scoring 17 goals and providing up six assists across all competitions.
United’s focus this summer has been clear: inject speed, goals and dynamism into a forward line that struggled for consistency last season.
According to reports, Manchester United is also getting close to making their second significant summer acquisition, Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford.
Following a stellar season with The Bees, the Cameroon international has been under United’s radar for months now.
However, it’s now been confirmed that the Red Devils are planning an additional few signings for the summer.

According to Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, well-placed figures at United spoke about three or four signings before the end of last season.
Three of those would go straight into the first team.
One of those three signings look set to be Bryan Mbeumo.

The Cameroon international is said to be a player who can play a variety of positions along the front line and has become one of United’s top attacking targets.
United is putting themselves in a position to beat teams like Tottenham, Newcastle, and Aston Villa to sign him rather than aiming for a quick deal like they did with Cunha.
Because of his direct running, adaptability, and demonstrated Premier League experience—qualities that align with the manager’s tactical philosophy—Amorim is interested in Mbeumo.
Although United has made their intentions known, this pursuit could go all the way to the end of the transfer window.
