Manchester United have made five signings during this summer’s transfer window as the Red Devils have looked to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025-26 season.
United’s business has seen the Red Devils sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a fee of £62.5 million.
Furthermore, it has seen the Old Trafford outfit sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford as well as Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno and Enzo Kana-Biyik as a free agent signing.
Most recently, Ruben Amorim’s side have signed Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

With these five signings through the door, Manchester United may now look to sell certain players to both condense the squad and raise funds for future targets.
Two players that have been linked with a move away from Old Trafford are Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund.
There has been a number of clubs that have been linked with the pair including Chelsea on Garnacho’s side and AC Milan on Hojlund’s side.
Now, ESPN have revealed that the selling of the duo could raise a fee close to £100 million.

If this fee was to be raised from the sale of Garnacho and Hojlund, it could allow the Red Devils to firm up their interest in a box-to-box midfielder, an area United haven’t recruited in yet this summer.
One midfielder the club could choose to pursue is Carlos Baleba from Brighton and Hove Albion.
United have previously been given the green light for the deal from the player’s side.
With the Seagulls wanting a fee of at least £87 million for the midfielder, the money raised from the sale of the Garnacho and Hojlund would arguably be pivotal in the Red Devils’ efforts to sign the Cameroon international.
But, only time will tell in both the prospect of selling the duo of Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund and in Manchester United’s pursuit of Carlos Baleba.
