Manchester United face Arsenal this Wednesday in a clash that could have significant implications for the Premier League title race.

United, still unbeaten under Ruben Amorim, will be desperate to maintain their momentum and secure a positive result against one of the best sides in the world.

However, the challenge is immense.

Arsenal recently dismantled Amorim’s former team, Sporting CP, in the Champions League.

Amorim will need to devise an exceptional plan to overcome Arsenal, but injuries could complicate his preparations.

Luke Shaw is reportedly sidelined, and Lisandro Martinez will miss the match due to suspension.

This defensive crisis comes at a terrible time for United, forcing Amorim to consider returning alternatives Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro.

While both are viable solutions, starting them in such a high-stakes match may not be ideal so early into their return from injury.

Arsenal, too, are dealing with injury setbacks, which could offer United a glimmer of hope.

If Amorim’s side can pull off a victory and Liverpool win their own match, Arsenal’s gap to the top would extend to 12 points, making their title aspirations nearly impossible.

For United, this game isn’t just about pride –  it could help define the Premier League race.
