3. Guys, We’re Just CRAZY!
The 2016-17 “half n half” style shirt was another brave attempt at creating fandom from a team which had just won the FA Cup and signed mad-lad Zlatan Ibrahimović (a free, from PSG).
The release video was video game styled, showcasing Phil Jones being wacky, Ashley Young being well-cool and Daley Blind thinking he’s massive.
It’s all very loopy and fun – playfully giving us all reason to want a shirt with two shades of red.
That season, we also bought Pogba (again) and shirt sales were electric alongside the Ibrahimović shirt and Rooney it what would be his last season as a Red.
