Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£15m) – 8/10

With the addition of Mazraoui and Man Utd needing to transfer into a more possession-based style, Aaron Wan-Bissaka had quickly become surplus to requirements.

One of the best one-v-one defenders in England, Wan-Bissaka wasn’t quite the right fit for the club

With time running out on his contract, a move this summer was always likely to happen.

Although the club would have liked to have received more for him, INEOS will be happy to get £15m and another player off the wage bill.

Jadon Sancho (Loan + £25m Obligation) – 7/10

After falling out with Erik ten Hag last season, it was important to remove Jadon Sancho in order to harmonise the squad.

With Amad Diallo having risen to the starting XI in pre season and question marks over Sancho’s suitability to the English Premier League, this will go down as a good sale in a few years time.

These 3 sales along were not the only outgoings.

Willy Kambwala, Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek, Alvaro Fernandez, Hannibal Mejbri and Facundo Pellistri were all sold, while Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial left the club as free agents.

These departures has meant that it’s been a great window of outgoings.

This will allow Man Utd to not only pass the FFP requirements but potentially have a larger transfer kitty for next window, while simultaneously strengthening their first team.

That marks it down as a successful transfer window, all things considered.

Overall Transfer Window Rank – 8/10
