Obi Martin and Thwaites Progression

Although Jim Thwaites scored the winner against Sunderland, Chido Obi-Martin’s time to shine is just around the corner.

His goal-scoring ability will soon come to the fore, and it won’t be long before he’s starting regularly for the U18s and even pushing for a spot with the U21s.

Having just arrived at Manchester United, Obi-Martin needs time to settle, but with hard work in training, the goals will follow.

His potential is undeniable, and he is sure to make vital contributions soon.

For Thwaites, the next step is securing a professional contract when he turns 17 and focusing on earning a starting spot for the U18s.

Once he becomes a regular starter, he can work on developing consistency to complement his flair for game-changing moments.

Both players are immensely talented, and if they continue to progress and apply themselves, there is no doubt that first-team opportunities will be within reach in the future.
