Marcus Rashford – 9/10

Rashford was back on his favouredleft wing position and it showed. Just by being there rather than through the middle, the English international made United’s first and third goals by going on the outside and taking his man on. His pass to Bruno Fernandes for the second was magnificent too and it capped off an extremely impactful performance from the 25-year-old.

Antony – 6/10

This was a better Antony than we saw in the previous two matches, albeit that doesn’t say much with how poor he was in those two games. The Brazilian had 4 key passes in the game and 1 big chance created and it was pleasing to see him attempt to go on the outside a few times too. There’s still plenty of room for improvement though, as he misplaced a number of passes and crosses throughout the game.

Anthony Martial – 4/10

Martial came in for Alejandro Garnacho in this match, allowing Marcus Rashford to go on the left wing. In that sense, Martal helped the team massively by unlocking the best out of Rashford. However, the Frenchman himself was largely invisible in the 60 minutes he spent on the pitch, as he only managed 1 blocked shot and none on target. His lack of box presence was a further reminder of why Rasmus Hojlund was signed this summer.

Jadon Sancho – 5/10

Sancho replaced Anthony Martial at the 60th minute mark and did well to help United see the game out once the comeback was completed. He wasn’t involved as much as he would have liked due to the team being pushed back by Forest, who were looking for an equalising goal.

Scott McTominay – 5/10

The Scotland international was introduced for the last 25 or so minutes of the game and he helped United in the box by heading out Forest’s attempted corners and long throws, while also winning a foul in midfield to ease off pressure. He did okay in the limited time he was given.
