Casemiro – 7.5/10
The Brazilian got the all-important second goal for United with his good box threat and finishing. The problem of diving in when he isn’t supposed to was still present in this game, albeit to a lesser extent. He won 5 of his 9 ground duels, and made 5 tackles. It wasn’t his best game by any means, but it wasn’t his worst either.
Christian Eriksen – 7/10
Eriksen came into the side to replace the recently injured Mason Mount, and he immediately had an impact by kick-starting United’s comeback. His movement to get into such a dangerous position in the box was fantastic, as was the finish itself. Perhaps we saw a sneak peek of what his Danish compatriot will bring to the side when he returns from injury.
Bruno Fernandes – 10/10
The Portuguese Magnifico won this game for United. His creativity was a sight to behold once again, with the innovative set piece for the second goal being a standout. He also got Forest’s Joe Worrall sent off through his blistering run throught the middle, while also converting his penalty which was the winning goal. Fernandes was all over the pitch all game, working extremely hard for every ball and was by far United’s best player.
