Casemiro – Following Casemiro taking a few games to settle in and his yellow card suspension vs Crystal Palace, this is Casemiro’s chance to start for the first-time vs Arsenal in a United top. We’ve seen Mainoo and others impress in that position during Pre-Season but there is no one quite like Casemiro, his elite ball winning ability and his eye for a pass is so impressive.
Mason Mount – Having had mixed reception in his first 2 games at United, this is Mount’s chance to impress playing alongside 2 of the best in their position in Bruno and Casemiro. Also with Bruno back he will have less creative burden on his shoulders and should be able to play his game better without having to try to overplay it. It will be interesting to see how he favours vs his mate and ex Cobham graduate Declan Rice in the midfield battle.
Bruno Fernandes – This is Bruno’s first game since officially being name captain after Maguire was stripped of his duties. He will have a point to prove and will want to repay the faith put in him by ten Hag, against an opposition in which he picked up 1 assist and played a huge role in the win last season in the game at Old Trafford.
