Eberechi Eze vs Noussair Mazraoui

Since Manchester United signed Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich for €15 million, he has slotted seamlessly into the back four.

This transition has been aided by Luke Shaw’s injury, which shifted Diogo Dalot to left back.

With Shaw unlikely to return for the Palace game, Mazraoui has another opportunity to cement his place in the starting lineup when Shaw returns.

Mazraoui has already registered an assist in the Premier League.

The Moroccan has impressed with his on-ball abilities, delivering inch-perfect passes and receiving the ball in tight central areas.

However, against Crystal Palace, he may need to showcase a different side of his game, as he’ll be up against English winger Eberechi Eze.

Eze is a player who can terrify full-backs.

After racking up 15 goal contributions last season, he attracted interest from top European clubs, including Manchester United.

Fresh off some promising cameos for England at UEFA Euro 2024, Eze will be looking to have an even stronger campaign.

With Michael Olise having moved to Bayern, Eze is now Palace’s primary creator and Mazraoui will need to stay alert for the full 90 minutes to nullify the threat from the left winger.
