Facundo Pellistri – 4/10

Like Hannibal, Facundo Pellstri was not very good in this game.

He was getting outmuscled by Tyrick Mitchell throughout the game and thus didn’t manage to do anything meaningful offensively.

He is still young and getting used to playing in United’s first team but will ultimately need to play a lot better in games like this if he is to have a future at the club.

Alejandro Garnacho – 7.5/10

Garnacho returned to the starting eleven after losing his place a few weeks ago.

He did really well to be in the right position for Diogo Dalot’s cut back, allowing himself to score United’s first.

Apart from that, he didn’t really get a lot of joy out on the left but did well to sustain attacks and not make any rash decisions.

A good display from the promising youngster.

Anthony Martial – 7/10

The Frenchman was largely invisible in the game before making one of the best box runs he’s made in a very long time to score United’s third and final goal.

If he starts doing that on a semi regular basis, he can be a useful rotational player for United.

Victor Lindelof – 6/10

The Swede came on for Mason Mount at half-time and slotted in at an unfamiliar left-back position.

With that in consideration, Lindelof did a good job for the team, although he wasn’t particularly tested at any point.

Daniel Gore – 6.5/10

I was really happy to see another youngster make his senior debut for the club. And it’s not just any youngster but another midfielder who is showing real promise.

Dan Gore looked very tidy on the ball in his 30 minute cameo, completing 26 out of his 28 passes.

His physicality may be one area he needs to improve if he is to become a regular for the senior team but the technical ability certainly seems to be there already.

Hopefully we can see more of him in the future.

Jonny Evans, Donny van de Beek & Rasmus Hojlund – N/A

Erik ten Hag – 9/10

When it comes to the manager, I thought he seleceted a good team for this game.

Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund getting a rest was definitely the right decision.

I was also pleased with the way we played, completely dominating a solid team like Crystal Palace and scoring three wonderful goals.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that he did not give Diogo Dalot or Casemiro a rest in the second half, particularly because those two have been playing a lot of minutes lately and will likely continue doing so in the big Premier League and Champions League games that are coming up.
