Hojlund Again
Rasmus Hojlund continues to impress, netting his fifth goal in just four games under Ruben Amorim.
After questions about his ability to lead the line, the young striker is beginning to show why Manchester United invested heavily in him.
Hojlund has drawn stylistic comparisons to Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, a player United were previously linked with.
However, if Hojlund can maintain his scoring form and further develop his all-around game, United may not need to look elsewhere – they already have their striker for the future.
Tyrell Malacia
Tyrell Malacia showed significant improvement in this match as he continues his return from a long-term injury.
Eased back into competitive action, Malacia looked closer to his best, providing much-needed stability on the left flank.
A fit and firing Malacia is crucial for both Manchester United and Ruben Amorim, especially given the team’s vulnerabilities at left-back.
His performances will be key as United aim to shore up their defence in the coming weeks.
