3. Casemiro
Despite starting the season in midfield, Casemiro has been left out of Manchester United’s last two Premier League fixtures, following a shaky performance against Liverpool.
However, Casemiro’s mentality is not one to sulk or give up.
The five-time UEFA Champions League winner will be determined to win back Erik ten Hag’s trust and reclaim his place in the starting XI.
With the emergence of new signing Manuel Ugarte and Christian Eriksen’s return to form, Casemiro knows that any opportunity he gets must be seized if he’s to regain his spot.
A run out against FC Twente will almost certainly occur.
In fact, it’s most probable that the Brazil midfielder will be named captain. Just as he was in the EFL Cup game against Barnsley.
Casemiro has shown this season that the quality is still there with his performances against Manchester City and Fulham.
The game against Twente should be the ideal arena for him to showcase that ability once again.
