2. Milos Kerkez
Another report that has just emerged is that Manchester United have recently been looking at Bournemouth left back Milos Kerkez.
He won’t come cheaply however, with the player previously having been valued at £40 million.
Bournemouth signed Milos Kerkez from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 and has been a regular since then.
Kerkez has impressed on both sides of the ball.
Defensively, his awareness and toughness in tackles have stood out, while offensively, he is more than happy to join attacks.
His ability to both overlap and invert makes him an ideal fit for Erik ten Hag’s system.
Manchester United’s current system relies on full backs being able to be very positionally intelligent and Kerkez possesses this and could fit in seamlessly.
The Hungary international impressed at UEFA Euro 2024 also, thus showcasing his ability to compete at an international level also.
Bournemouth are traditionally a selling club and they definitely have a saleable asset in the Hungarian left-back.
If the price is right, Manchester United should be there for a player who only turns 21 in November.
