The landscape at Manchester United has changed a lot over the last year.
The coaching staff have changed from Erik ten Hag and his backroom staff to Ruben Amorim with his Sporting CP coaches joining him from Portugal.
United’s attacking line-up have changed from Marcus Rashford, Antony, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho to Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
Even the directors have changed with Dan Ashworth being hired and fired in a matter of months, seeing Jason Wilcox take on his role.
Now though, Manchester United have made a new hiring in the form of Doctor William Fotherby who is set to move to Old Trafford from Everton.
Taking to LinkedIn, Dr Fotherby announced: “I am delighted to share that I am joining Manchester United as Men’s First Team Doctor.
“It is a privilege to be a part of this historic club and to help support the team in achieving success at the highest level.”
The former NHS doctor has had significant experience in the world of sport, having been with Everton for three years, however before that was also a Team Doctor with British Gymnastics and Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club.
This is a breaking story with more to follow.
